Tribe Bath Towel
If ever there was an excuse to treat yourself to a long, relaxing, warm bath ... today is the day! June 14th marks our calendars with International Bath Day and serves as a reminder for everyone to enjoy the most relaxing and indulgent of soaks.
For many, a bath is a means to escape. A chance to unwind, zone out and take some time for yourself. This is why Sunday Minx wanted to celebrate this occasion as we recognise the importance of doing something positive for your wellbeing.
So where did this day of enjoying a float in some bubbles originate from?
Legend has it that on June 14th the Greek mathematician and scholar, Archimedes, discovered while taking a bath that an object’s volume could be accurately measured by being submerged in water! Unable to contain his excitement over this discovery, Archimedes leaped out of the bathtub and yelled, “Eureka, Eureka!” as he ran through the streets of Syracuse, Greece.

Whilst many of us won't be conducting science experiments as we bathe, we do encourage you to celebrate. Here are some tips for the ultimate bath experience:
  • Get your tunes sorted! Fill the bathroom with your favourite tunes! Maybe it is Barry Manilow or perhaps some soothing Nirvana? Whatever floats your boat, set the mood and make it a space you love.
  • Add bubbles, essential oils or a bath bomb! There are so many stunning products on the market that can add aromatic scents, nourish your skin and moisturise.
  • Get the temperature just right! Not too hot, not too cold! We don't want to cook any lobsters in this bath session.
  • End your bath session by wrapping yourself in Bath Towel luxury. Sunday Minx Bath Towels are generously sized, super soft and highly absorbent. Made with 100% Turkish Cotton for serious quality, our Bath Towels are the perfect way to end your bathing indulgence.
So Happy International Bath Day! We encourage you to try and take an hour out of your schedule and escape from the world ... you have the perfect excuse to do so!
