The History of Sunday Minx Collections

Launched April 2017.
Gatsby glamour meets tropical chic!
The Deco District Collection by Sunday Minx reveals an exciting and unique interpretation of the Art Deco era.  Blending traditional and sophisticated deco design with the fun and frivolity of the tropics found in South Beach Miami - The Deco District Collection is the crown jewel of bath towel designs.
South Beach Miami has become the epicentre of Art Deco Architecture and restoration.  With over 800 restored buildings, many glamorous hotels, the region is bathed in exotic and playful colour. Capturing the opulence, intricate lines and elegant geometry of the Art Deco era combined with a unique coastal charm and relaxed attitude, the district provides a feast of inspiration.
Each towel in The Deco District Collection is named after an iconic façade located in this famous locale.

Launched August 2015.
The debut collection by Sunday Minx, Memphis Moves, was inspired by the post-modernist designs of the Italian-based Memphis Movement from the early 1980s. Known for challenging perceptions of conventional design and rejecting the conformist approach, The Memphis Movement provided Sunday Minx with strong disciplines in both design aesthetic and attitude.
With a desire to stand out from the crowd and create a splash, Sunday Minx drew on the iconic Memphis trends of bold, geometric lines and vibrant colours through the use of innovation and pattern.
The collection challenged traditional plain bath towel designs whilst also recognising the increasingly popular Scandinavian and Geometric interior trends gaining momentum at the time of launch.
The collection is a delight to the senses. With its rich, luxurious Turkish cotton, superior functionality and eye-catching designs, Sunday Minx’s Memphis Moves Collection has set the foundation for future collections.
